Day 01: Arrive Kabul

Day 02: Kabul
Full day sightseeing tour - Visit Arg Palace (Presidential Palaces), Jashen
Grounds, Nadir Shah mausoleum - view panorama of the old city and the half destroyed Kabul Fort, Pul-I-Khishti, Shah du Shamshira mosques,Emperor Babur’s Gardens and tomb, Kabul Museum that has been devoid of its collection during the recent civil wars, we shall then visit the Bazar afternoon short excursion to Baghe Bala which used to be a popular retreat but has been victim of constant civil war overnight

Day 03: Kabul/Puli Khumri - 229 kms
Morning departure for the northern Afghanistan as we travel to the heart of Hindukush mountain ranges passing through Salang pass and tunnel at 3363m Enroute we stop at the archaeological site of Surkh Kotal - one of the important site of Bactria which attained its prominence when it was made as an important centre during the Kushan rule. We shall visit the remains of Buddhist temple dating 02nd AD.
On arrival transfer to a local rest house accommodation

Day 04: Puli Khumri/Mazar-i-Sharif - 208 kms
Morning departure for Mazar enroute visit Samangan(Aibak) to see the Buddhist ruins dating 4th - 5th AD. Afterwards continue to Khulm visiting the famous covered bazar, Baghe Jahan Numa and tomb of Qilich Ali Beg.
Later continue to Mazar-i-Sharif and on arrival transfer to Hotel

Day 05: Mazar-i-Sharif
Morning visit the shrine of Hzarat Ali and the local bazar
Afternoon excursion to Balkh - visit madrassah Subhan Quli Khan
The Citadel Walls, Tombs of Khawaja Abu Nasr Parsa and Rabia Balkhi
Also visit Masjide Haji Piyada

Day 06: Mazar-i-Sharif/Maimana - 339 kms
Morning departure for Maimana following the northern parts of Hindukush ranges with rugged dry terrain. This is partly paved and partly dusty track but has some interesting villages of ancient times trod by the armies of Chengiz Khan continuing towards their punitive rage to Hirat.
On arrival we shall transfer to a basic accommodation

Day 07: Maimana/Bala Murghab - 179 kms
In the morning before departing we shall see the famous game Buzkashi.

Day 08-09:Bala Murghab/Kala Naw - 116 kms
Kala Naw/Herat - 160 kms
We continue on the most duty and time consuming road to Herat with stopover at Kala Naw. On arrival at Herat transfer to a motel

Day 10: Herat
Full day sightseeing tour of Herat visit - The Citadel situated at the prominent hillock has been dated to the early invasions - Ghaznavids, the Seljuks, the Ghorids, the Mongols, the Timurids and the Safavids.
Masjie Jami is known for its beautiful tile and mosaic decoration, Gazargah The tomb of 11th century poet Khawaja Abdullah Ansari, also see the tomb Amir Dost Mohammad one of the former kings of Afghanistan. Later visit Gawhar Shad’s mausoleum, the wife of Shah Rukh one of the sons of Tamerlane. This is a beautiful tomb with tile work and the typical ribbed dome as of Tamerlane in Samarkand. We shall visit the tomb of famous 15th century poet Maulana Nuruddin Abdurrakhman Jami, who died in 1492.
Later we shall see the famous Musalla Complex built by Queen Gawhar Shad built in late 1400’s.
Lastly we shall the interesting Charsuq(Bazar) which still retains the grandeur of a Central Asia Bazar

Day 11: Herat/Kabul - Flt
Kabul/Bamiyan - Flt
Morning flight to Kabul and on arrival in transit for the connecting flight to Bamiyan. On arrival at Bamiyan transfer to motel

Day 12: Bamiyan
We shall visit the site of famous Buddhas which were shamelessly destroyed during the tyrant and illiterate regime of the clerics. It will be more of a exploratory tour to see the remaining sites and possible traces of frescoes.
Later in the afternoon we shall see the ruins of Share Ghalghola which is still witness to the destruction of Chengezid hordes.

Day 13: Bamiyan/Kabul - Flt
Full day excursion to Bande Amir lakes - the blue waters of the lake are tremendous with a dry background
We shall then take the late afternoon flight to Kabul. On arrival transfer to Hotel
