      Uzbekistan was amazing.
To do justice, we should have been able to see the Feraghana Valley at the start of the tour.
Taking the train from Tashkent to Samarkand was a good option.
We need an additional day in Bukhara.
The drive from Bukhara to Khiva is too long.

      On arrival at Tashkent airport.
No one at the Visa desk. Took over an hour for officer to show up to issue visa. Maybe Sitara can "alert" the Ministry of incoming flights...
It was not a good start to the tour - 2hrs to got out of the airport.

Enjoyed Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva cities and the people, sites of all cities and places visited.
Wished there were more english explanations at tourist sites visited
Wash room facilities: wished there were more with western style, specially for seniors. If this could be passed on to the ministry of tourism.

Bogibek was an excellent guide, went out of his way to explain everything, made sure we always had what we needed and never rushed us. He made our trip. In terms of hotels, The Malika in Samarkand has very comfortable facilities and a very good breakfast; Lyabi House was a disappointment. The house itself was a beautiful iwan, but rooms were characterless, there was no hot water for shower on 2 days and if you come to breakfast at 8:30 (it finishes) there is virtually no food left (all eaten by groops) and they do not bring any extra, so choice is really limited. Their internet is also hopeless.
Shame as the place is beautiful and location excellent.
Lotte Hotel Tashkent Palace is a nice, comfortable hotel, good amenities in the room.
Orient Star Khiva is very charming and I would stay there again despite the very hard, narrow beds because of its historical character. It is a wonderful experience.
Staff in all hotels was very polite and did their best.
All in all we will take away very good memories of Uzbekistan and its people. Thank you
