    Itinerary of «Astana & Almaty»
    Day 01: Astana
    Upon arrival to Astana city airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to the hotel for check in. Early check – in.
    After breakfast, Sightseeing tour in Astana:
    The city in now Astana has welcomed waves of newcomers since the tsarist soldiers fanned out across the steppe to expend the empire, from eager volunteers responding to calls to conquer the Virgin Lands by planting grain to feed the Soviet Union in the 1950s to enthusiastic officials arriving to build a new capital for independent Kazakhstan in the 1990s. According to the Russian Empire's first census, on the threshold of the 20 th century there were some 10,000 people living in the town. Astana's population nowadays exceeds half a million.
    We visit Baiterek, First President Museum, Culture center and the Pyramid, Aquarium “Dumana” and department store “Mega”.
    Overnight in the hotel.

    Day 02: Astana - Korgalzhyn State Nature Reserve – Alzhir Camp
    After breakfast, drive to Korgaldgynskiy State Reserve.
    Korgalzhyn State Reserve is the largest preserve zone in Kazakhstan, occupying an area of about 258.9 million hectares, including 198,000 hectares of wetlands. a. In broad outline the area contains Tengiz and Korgalzhyn large lakes, the remainders of an ancient sea, which once was the heart of the valley.
    After excursion, drive to Alzhir Camp.
    Camp was built in the middle of vast Kazakh steppe in 1938 and stopped functioning in 1953, the year Stalin died. For 15 years, just as much as 20,000 women were brought to the camp from different regions of USSR. In 2007, memorial complex was opened on the territory of the former camp Alzhir to commemorate those who have fallen under Stalin repressions.
    Drive back to Astana. Overnight in the Hotel.

    Day 03: Astana – Almaty (Flight)
    After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flghit to Almaty ( All days except Sunday).
    Upon arrival, drive to a hotel. After short resting, city tour in Almaty: visit Panfilov’s Park with Zenkov’s Orthodox Cathedral, Great Patriotic War Memorial and Museum of Kazakh Folk Musical Instruments (closed on Monday). After that you will walk to Green Market. On your way you will see Chocolate Factory “Rakhat” and walk down towards the mosque.
    In the afternoon visit Republic Square, Independence Monument, State Historical Museum (closed on Tuesday).

    Day 04: Almaty
    In the morning transfer to the airport to catch your flight home.
